Working through the modernist, cubist, futurist and expressionist periods of the early-20th Century, Amadeo de Souza Cardozo is recognised not just for art, but dialogues with and between different avant-garde movements. Studio Bruto’s visual identity and editorial design for Museu Municipal’s expansive exhibition of his paintings, alongside work by other relevant practitioners, followed that model: a coherent whole nodding to different aspects of varied styles.
